In January I will be travelling to some of the most unprivileged communities in Gujarat, India. One of the reasons I chose to study at De Montfort University was due to it’s incredible opportunities such as this. DMU Square Mile India will give me the opportunity to use my performance skills to teach and deliver fun and engaging drama and dance based workshops to the children and women in the community centres that I will visit. By taking part in this amazing experience I will be able to use something I am extremely passionate about to make a real difference to the lives of the people in Ahmedabad through performance. In order for me to take part in this experience I need to raise £350 to fund the costs of this opportunity. I will be grateful for any donations no matter how little. Thank you!
