Story

Little George lost his life after a gas explosion on our street in May of last year, we are trying to raise as much money as possible so his parents, Vicky and Steven can give their beautiful little boy the memorial garden he deserves.

I will be taking part in a 22-mile walk from Mallowdale Avenue, Heysham, to Ward’s Stone on Mallowdale Fell, the highest peak in the Forest of Bowland. The route follows the cycle path through Lancaster and on to Caton to start the ascent of Clougha Pike (413m). The team will then head east, up and over Grit Fell (468m), across tough terrain to Ward’s Stone (560m), with views back down to Heysham. The walk finishes at the Jubilee Tower, with the team having completed 22 miles and climbed over 2,600 feet
