On Sunday 30th July 2023, our gorgeous George was tragically hit by a speeding drunk motorist as he crossed the road to his uber.

Within minutes, the air ambulance arrived and worked their hardest on him before he was transferred to the critical care unit at Kings College London. This is where we met our real-life angel nurses/doctors who did everything in their power for George and everyone close. These incredible people were there for us every step of the way, from being a shoulder to cry on, to making it achievable to bring Daphne our dog to the hospital to have her time with George. Then allowing an outstanding 84 of our most special friends and family through the doors to have their time with their cousin/friend/nephew/grandson in one day.

With a continuous list of life-threatening injuries, we didn’t leave his side. For anyone who knew him, his body was the definition of a temple. His body fought and fought until it was time to say ‘let go’.

Our cheeky, kind, funny, gorgeous George passed away on Saturday 5th August 2023 at 9:41 pm. 26 years just wasn’t long enough. Always the hero in life, he has given future life to four people, which we hope to find some comfort in down the line.

All money donated will be going to the charity set up in George’s memory ‘The Number 8 Foundation’. All money raised by the charity will be donated to air ambulance and critical care units.
