My name is George Carpenter, I am 17 years old and I live near Sennen in Cornwall. I have been surfing since I was 10 and I’m passionate about the sport.

I am currently at sixth form college in Penzance studying Sports Coaching and Fitness. During the tourist season, I work as a surf coach at Sennen Surfing Centre. I really enjoy sharing this amazing sport with people of all different abilities.

After achieving 2nd place at the U18s English Nationals in 2017, I was honoured to be selected for the under 18s England team. I have the opportunity to compete on the European Junior Tour and if selected, the World Junior Championships later on in 2018.

I am trying to raise funds to be able to enter competitions in the WSL European Pro Junior Tour being held in France in May 2018. Costs include: England training camps in the UK, entry fees to the events, travel and accommodation.
