More than many months ago I put pen to actual paper and wrote a play.

It’s been collecting dust and feelings of neglect in the cluttered corner of my mind that I call “things I’m putting off” ever since. Then comes along a rose tinted, sun-filled day when you think to hell with all your faintness of heart, take courage woman and submit the damn play... it goes and gets itself accepted to a festival of new work in London and all that daring fortitude you may have had in the moments leading up to hitting send suddenly all but leaves you and ahead is the task of funding, casting, directing and breathing life into it... all whilst people sit and watch. There's no denying, I'm feeling daunted.

There is very little, to no funding available out there for putting on any sort of creative endeavour, so I need your help. To be able to pay actors, director, sound engineers, musicians and lighting, even if it's just a token payment of thanks for their hard work and precious time, to be able to put this piece into action, I need your support.

Set on an international space station after nuclear and environmental devastation on our planet, we follow the efforts of a small group of refugees from Earth, as they try to save mankind. With live foley and music, we will be catapulted millions of miles into our futures. To be on at RADA festival, June 2018.

I wrote this play in the scraps of spare time, on commuter busses and trains, over late nights and pre-work early dawns. This is a serious opportunity for my writing, and acting to be given a break. Any amount of support will genuinely help to realise this ambition, and I shall be giddy with appreciation.
