Story

On 22 May I will be cycling 142 miles (one mile for every day of lockdown over the past year).

Lockdown has reintroduced me to the tarmac with some good miles under my belt. 142 miles will be way beyond anything I have cycled but will have Bealie pedalling with me all the way. Friends and family will be joining us for various legs to help act as wind breaks, refuel and cheer us along the way.

This crazy cycle is for the best reason though, to raise money for two causes close to me.

Keech Hospice is an incredible place providing the most amazing care and support at the most difficult of times. Their compassion and care for Olivia and the Wiggs family was simply beautiful.

The Basement Project is a charity in Bromsgrove which supports young people 16-25 who are homeless, facing homelessness or with other issues. My mum helped set up the charity over 30 years ago and has continued to volunteer ever since.
