We are doing the 3 mountains in 3 days challenge to help raise money for the Macmillan unit in Antrim area hospital. Myself and 4 other lads will begin in Co.Kerry on Friday 25th August and tackle the first mountain Carrauntoohil (highest in Ireland at 1,038m tall) 🥵 we will then travel to Co.Mayo on Saturday to climb Croagh Patrick (764m tall). Finally on Sunday we will take on the last mountain Slieve Donard (Highest mountain in the North at 850m tall).

We are doing this challenge to raise money for the Macmillan Unit in memorial of Gerard McFerran (Gerry), my father who was cared for in the last weeks of his life by the amazing team in the unit. Money raised will be used to purchase new up to date music systems for each of the rooms as anyone who knew my father knows how much he enjoyed listening to his music and this brought him comfort in his last week's. Any remaining money raised will be given directly to the unit to help them continue to deliver the phenomenal care they do each day.
