Hi, I am Gary the ginger tabby cat.

I am 10 months old and I bring joy to everyone around me, even from as far as America via Facebook. I have even made a lovely lady called Maggie, who had cancer(but has sadly passed away now) smile, from my silly antics like pulling up the neighbours carrots and eating them. They were delicious.

However i now need an operation on my back leg/hip. I went out to play last saturday night and hurt myself and went missing for 3 days. I managed to find my way back home and was taken straight to the vets as i couldn't walk properly.

The vet x-rayed my leg and found out I have a bad fracture. I now need an operation is to fix it, and my mummy and daddy wont let the vet put me to sleep or cut off my leg because its cheaper. All i want to do is get back to full health so i can make even more people smile. I have even been asked to visit a retirement home when COVID dies down, to entertain old people and make them smile.

I know this is a struggle for my mummy and daddy, especially because they want the best for me. Will you help me to get better.
