    Story

Can you please help a 67 year old man who is registered severely partially blind. He has had a few items breakdown this year in his house and can’t afford to get them replaced. This man has not had a working boiler for two years and through this freezing weather we have experienced he has had no central heating and spends most days lying in bed just to keep warm. He only has a small electric heater to warm the area he sits in and he washes in cold water. He is a diabetic and due to a condition called ‘charcot foot’, one of his feet, is permanently deformed. This means to get around he has to use crutches, he cannot get to the shops unless he pays for a cab both ways. He only gets to see someone once or twice a month when he shops, which is having an adverse affect on his mental health . He has only a sister as a relative who lives in the states and shows no interest in his welfare. Please donate whatever you can to this worthy cause.
