I've raised £1000 to Help Bear’s Journey, we are raising money to help fund specialist equipment for Tony Hudgell

Meet Tony.
When Tony was born he didn’t have the best start in life. His birth parents inflicted injuries on him to the point he was close to death. His body had succumbed to the injuries he endured. If it wasn’t for the amazing NHS doctors and nurses who worked tirelessly he would have died.
At 41 days old he was admitted to hospital with multiple fractures of all his limbs, dislocations of various joints, blunt trauma to his face and multiple other injuries. He had been left anything upto 10 days before he was taken to the doctors in an unresponsive state.
By this time his poor body had given up to the injuries and he developed Sepsis, toxic shock and multi organ failure. He was on the brink of death. But he was not going to give up and he survived. Albeit with life changing injuries - he survived and to look at him now is simply an inspiration that we can all draw from.
Unfortunately he is left with major life changing injuries - he is a double through knee amputee, has part of his left hip socket missing, is deaf in his right ear and motor problems with both thumbs and his left wrist.
Tony is now, and has been since he was 4 months old, under the love and care of Paula and Mark along with the his brothers and sisters.
