We are 'The 11%' and we're here to represent the female engineers at a National Competition.
We are four students studying engineering at Loughborough University and our team name represents the % of girls on our engineering course. We want to raise awareness of girls in engineering/STEM subjects and show off just how much we can accomplish!
We will be competing at the RedBull Soapbox competition at Alexander Palace in July 2022. So far we have been supported by RedBull to initiate the build of our soapbox and we would be grateful for any funds that can help us continue our journey!
Any additional or leftover funds we receive, will be donated to a charity supporting girls education.
The main feature - the soapbox will be a peacock to create a magnificent and memorable impact on the Soapbox Race!
