Oslo or Bust: The Azlans' Cycle Challenge
🚴🏉 The Azlans are taking on another ultimate cycling challenge!
Join The Azlans as we take on the ultimate endurance test! We’re hopping on static bikes, pushing our limits to raise funds for our journey to The Union Cup in Oslo, where we’ll proudly represent Northern Ireland amongst other inclusive teams from across Europe.
Teaming up with our Ophir RFC rugby family, we’re battling it out on two wheels (static) to raise vital funds for new equipment, player development, and the continued growth of our club. Every mile we pedal gets us closer to our goal—on and off the pitch!
But that’s not all, we are taking on a serious distance challenge! On the 15th of March, we will be cycling the combined distance to the clubs in Ulster Rugby that are at the most Easterly, Southerly, Westerly, and Northerly points, a whopping 380 miles in total!
And, of course, a little friendly competition never hurt anyone! Each team will be battling it out to raise the most funds AND cycle the most miles. Bragging rights are on the line and more importantly, we are doing this to support a club that means so much to us and our community.
You get a feeling of belonging to something great, being part of a team. You get to meet people from all walks of life, and share awesome memories with them.
