KELLY'S FUND ❤️

KELLY WOODCOCK (ZENA) is just 40 yrs old. She has travelled the world as a professional dancer/choreographer & inspired & taught dance to numerous children, teens & adults throughout the UK. In May 2012 her life was catastrophically changed when, after a year of dreadful headaches, sinusitis & constant colds/flu, she was rushed to West Middlesex hospital as an emergency where doctors discovered a huge Glioblastoma multiforme brain tumour not previously suspected or detected. Kelly recovered remarkably well from surgery, & after months of chemotherapy & radiation, remained well for the past 4 years with no further tumour growth.

But a few months ago in July 2016 the tumour returned with a vengeance despite a clear MRI scan just 3 months previously. Kelly had further surgery to remove this new tumour in August but it grew again almost immediately resulting in weakness in her left side body, affecting speech & devastatingly, NHS doctors at CX have refused further treatment. Kelly's tumour is not suitable for more surgery BUT she is young and a highly respected oncologist at London Bridge hospital is recommending a well known combination of chemotherapy to attack tumours, in combination with Avastin which reduces growth & spread of cancer cells as well as reducing swelling and getting her off steroids which will help mobility and make her FAR more comfortable.

This treatment is not available on the NHS. We need £12,000 to fund each 6 wk treatment cycle. So further funding will be required after this first cycle, but we can start with raising £25,000 and then work on the rest. We will need at least £50,000 over 6 months!
