Friends of Linden are once again holding a Sponsored Read in conjunction with Usborne Books to raise money for some new books for Linden Primary School. When we ran this event previously, an amazing £1400 was raised, which with the additional amount generously donated by Usborne, we were able to purchase £2000 of books for the school. In these challenging times, where our usual fundraising activities are on hold, this is a great way of being able to support the school, while enabling the children to participate in a fun event that supports their learning.
