Baron's Pond is a small lovely island of greenery and wildlife on the junction of Popes Lane and Gunnersbury Drive. It has been a joy for local residents for nearly 15 years. Unfortunately due to filtering and draining construction issues + hot summers and low rainfall - it became impossible to keep it filled with water. Local residents teamed up with Ealing Forgotten Spaces and Ealing Council members to brainstorm and find a cost-effective solution to bring water back so wildlife can strive again!

Please help us crowdfund this amount for initial excavating works so that ducks and moorhens can bring up their chicks here again!

4 years agoHi everyone! I just wanted to say a massive that you to everyone who has donated. The works have been completed last week. We are now waiting for the rain to fill the pond up and it will be thriving again!
