This year, my college have provided the opportunity for me to get involved in an expedition to Africa where we will help to support and overcome the day to day challenges rural communities face, including access to clean water, education and housing. We will be travelling with Camps International, global leaders in ethical and sustainable school expeditions and offer a real and authentic cultural experience. This experience will also provide me with key life skills as well as a cultural understanding of what life is really like outside home. Whilst there, we will be meeting the inspiring, world famous Maasai tribes who are located around the Kenya, Tanzanian border who will teach us some of their traditional skills.

Most of us are so fortunate living in the Western world, where our critical needs are met on a daily basis. Children in Africa, receiving support from young people like myself from first world countries, will help provide them ambition to continue and shape their own communities for the better.

Whilst I have already saved a substantial amount, the total cost of this trip is beyond my reach alone. Your kind donations will see me on my way to giving my time to help these communities in Africa.
