Since the start of the COVID pandemic lockdown in March 2020, hundreds of African families living in Leeds, West Yorkshire have been badly affected due to inability to work or receive state benefit. The Sierra Leone Poverty Alleviation Charity Trust is working with the Leeds African Community Network to raise funds to help buy foods and sanitation products for these families.
