We at G4B are opening up our plastics manufacturing facilities in Droitwich to make personal protective equipment (PPE) for all healthcare professionals. We have specialist machinery that can laser cut PPE items and manufacture safety masks.

After hearing about the unavailability of PPE for our health workers and seeing the efforts of other organisations (schools, colleges, engineering firms) across the country, it was a no-brainer to support healthcare providers by making visors. The NHS and other healthcare providers are helping so many people during this incredibly difficult time, and we want to give something back to try and keep our healthcare heroes safe.

We hope that we as a business can make a real difference in the fight against COVID-19. Our facilities are ready, and we've been able to switch our focus and our technology to produce PPE quickly. We have already invested in the materials needed to produce the visors and are able to build 5,000 visors from the current stock we hold. We have everything in place in order to begin production and over the coming weeks we will be working to produce as many visors as possible whilst following social distancing guidelines.

We just need help funding this as we want to give them out for free. Your funds will help to cover costs and enable these masks to get to those who need them the most as soon as possible. Any additional funding raised will be donated to local charities that have had their usual income sources stripped from them by shop and event closures.

Any amount you can give would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping to make sure that nurses and other care professionals remain as safe as possible whilst carrying out their heroic day to day jobs.
