My Husband aged 56 had multiple strokes on 9th March 2019 and got rushed to hospital, he is currently paralysed down his right side and can't talk, he has to have his food pureed and his drinks thickened due to the risk of him choking, he is doing well medically, but mentally and pysically he isn't so good, without the nurses and doctors from HRI he probably wouldn't be here right now and with the continued care he will be getting from Rossmore stroke rehab (the only stroke unit left in Hull) he should hopefully make an almost full recovery, but it will be a long process.. So i am raising as much as i can to split between these wonderful places and get my husband home to family as quickly as possible, Thank you! xx
