Story

As many of you know, double paralympic medalist and 2x World Time Trial Champion, was involved in a freak accident whilst out on a regular training ride on 1st October, the day before his 27th Birthday.

George suffered a diffuse axonal injury (DAI), one of the most debilitating forms of traumatic brain injuries. He is currently undergoing treatment in Addenbrookes hospital; and we are just at the beginning of this long recovery journey.

We would like to raise money to support the emergency services and the air ambulance charity that attended the scene on the day, as well as various different establishments that are going to be supporting George over the next months and years with rehabilitation. This page is going to be open throughout George’s recovery, as we know there are going to be many challenges to overcome; and many different charities and people that help us along the way.

A massive thank you to everyone who is supporting, and sending messages of hope 🫶
