Story

My Dad died on 31st March leaving his beloved dog Chloe in our care. Dad rescued her when she was a pup and they were inseparable friends. At first we thought she was just grieving with us but then she became lethargic and stopped eating. She started really crying this afternoon so we rushed her to the vet. The Ultrasound showed Chloe's womb to be full of pus. The vet told us she needed emergency life-saving surgery. We had to take her a further 20 miles to a different vet for this surgery that is being performed tonight. I am a disabled mostly housebound person and my husband is my carer. The vet is asking for £2000 and we just don't have that kind of money. We asked to pay in instalments but they said no it wasn't their policy. We love Chloe very much so we said yes to the surgery hoping we can somehow find the money. We would be grateful for any help anyone can give. Thank you from Verena & Paul
