Last year, one of our cricketing brethren, during an off-field spell, was hit pretty close to the line by an unexpectedly fierce 'stroke'.

Mark, 'Saral', 'Hoona' has been a pillar of the Jersey cricketing community for over 30 years, having represented the Island and a number of local sides, where he continued to steam up to the crease until his early 50's.

To help Saral get back to his mark and beat the proverbial bat, we are keen to raise funds through various means to assist the family purchase items which will make a huge difference to Mark's every day life. Costs may include: adaptations to the house; electric living room chair; electric wheelchair; and a specialist car.
