Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Food For Thought is a group of individuals who all want to help their local community. We care that 14% of local families with children have experienced food insecurity in the past 6 months with a staggering 75% of these families being in employment. We also care about people's mental health and physical well-being especially during these uncertain times. If you need help or are struggling please get in touch. We are asking people to fast for just 24 hours to get a small incite into how someone who has no food struggles for often a much longer period of time. Please have a go at our challenge donate £5 when you have completed the fast then please nominate 3 friends to take part if you fail donate another £5. Any amount of money that we raise is a bonus please help us to stop food poverty. Thank you

About the fundraiser
Food For Thought
When the government announced that it would not be supporting free school meals during the Autumn half term. We decided that enough was enough. It was agreed that we could do a sponsored fast to highlight how it feels to miss out on food for just one day.
