Please support our major project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, to repair the much-loved Leas Lift in Folkestone, closed since 2017, and bring it back to full public use with 21st century facilities and an exciting programme of activities.

Leas Lift is a remarkable feat of Victorian Engineering, one of only three remaining funicular railways in the country with their original water-balance system still in place.

We urgently need to raise the final £200,000 in matched funding to make this project happen. Please support our 'Give Folkestone a Lift' Crowdfunder which aims to raise 10% of this - £20,000. In recognition of your generous contribution, you will receive:
