Our beautiful historic park has a hardworking group of volunteers (see photograph above) whose aim is to make it a welcoming oasis in West Bromwich for all age groups to enjoy.

As the secretary of The Friends of Dartmouth Park, West Bromwich, I am asking for support for the group to provide more new benches in the park to replace the original wooden benches. The new benches we have already installed in the Park, which have been paid for by individuals, are much sturdier and hardwearing.

Also we need funds to help to replace trees in the park that have become diseased and we are applying for official Arboretum status so that the Park's trees are safeguarded for future generations.
