Your assistance has enabled Fliquet’s family to visit her in Southampton when she needed it most, assisted with home rental payments, maintained Stained Tattoo Co. rental payments to allow Fliquet’s business to continue to provide some income via her partner during these difficult times, and generally provided for the day to day living costs of this wonderful mother and her family.

With COVID-19 altering the way that we all live; another unfortunate curveball has come about. The family’s home rental lease is shortly due to expire and whilst it is automatically extended to the end of September, the cost of the rental property is too high to be managed. It has been advised, due to Fliquet being immunocompromised from her treatment, that the family do not attempt to move immediately. This in itself is another issue as Fliquet is now wheelchair bound whilst she works to recover from the fractures in her spine and chest as a result of the cancer, and the property is not wheelchair accessible. We will soon be searching for a suitable property, that is wheelchair accessible, allows children and pets and can offer a manageable rent until Fliq is fit enough work again.

The ‘Fliq Off To Cancer’ team therefore needs to call on the community for assistance once more. We would be super grateful if anyone was able to donate further to the cause and give Fliquet and family one less thing to worry about.
