Story

On Monday 6th February, our dear friend Karla was involved in an accident on her bike in London, and despite fighting hard, her injuries proved too much.

Karla was taken from us too early, and like many people of 32 had no insurance, she just had plans, ambition, love and kindness.

Which is why we need your help. Her family and close friends are currently making all of the necessary arrangements to repatriate her to Brazil, but this process is expensive.

The full amount will go to cover the expenses for funeral, memorial and associated costs. If there is a remainder, the money will be donated to a charity cause.

If you are able to make a contribution to support them at this time it will be gratefully appreciated. Please also help us by sharing Karla's story.

We have been overwhelmed by the amazing support and are confident there are enough funds to cover the costs of the funeral, memorial, and other associated costs. If there is any remaining money left, it will be donated to a charity (to be confirmed). Thank you for helping us get Karla home to her family.

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far. The page has only been live for a few hours and we have raised almost £1,000 which is fantastic. We have subsequently expanded the original goal of the page to support arrangements to send Karla home to Brazil. Please share far and wide. Rupert x
