The Kent & East Sussex Locomotive Trust are the owners of the oldest BoBo diesel electric locomotive in the country. The loco known to all our volunteers as "The Ford" is 78 years old and worked at the Ford plant in Dagenham until it retired to our railway at Tenterden (K&ESR).

Until recently our old loco was in regular use on our local heritage railway but suffered a major electrical fault in its generator.

Thank you to all our donors and members, our generator repair has now been completed, and has been returned to us for refitting to the loco.

However we have still not raised the full amount required to settle the bill. So please share our just giving page with friends and like minded people. We must raise more funds if we are to see our historic locomotive running again.
