Iʼve raised £507 to Support wildfire victims in Chile!

    Talca, Chile
Funded on Saturday, 25th February 2017

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

    Dear all:
My homecountry Chile is experiencing its largest wildfires in history. More than 200,000 hectares have been consumed by the fire in the last 3 weeks, leaving mostly farmers in the central valley with technically nothing.

The money raised here will be used to support one of the families from Santa Olga, a town that was completely blazed down by the fire where more than 1000 homes got burnt down, causing farmers to lose their animals and also their crops.

Some of it will also go to an animalist group based in Talca and surroundings who are currently dealing with wounded or badly burnt animals, in order to provide them with medical treatment.

Every donation is and will be greatly appreciated. Even if you make a small donation such as the price of a cup of coffee or a drink, it will go a long way.

We are blessed beyond measure. However, we all need and want a helping hand in times of trouble. The more we save, the more people we'll be able to help.
    Thanks a lot.

      Update from the Page owner

To all of you who donated so generously towards this fund raising campaign: I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! Your help will make a significant difference for a family and for an animalist group back home. I'm currently waiting for the money to be transferred into my account to then get it sent off to Chile via Western Union. Justgiving will deduct 5% of the total amount we raised but the rest of it will still reach those who it is intended for. Let us never forget to be compassionate to others. Thanks Marcela
