Story
Fight For Felix is an event in the crowdfunding campaign 'Fit for Felix' created to support the needs of a very brave boy:
Felix Barrow was knocked down by a car outside his home in October 2015. He was flown to Southampton General Hospital by the Hampshire & IOW Air Ambulance, and placed in a medically-induced coma. Among his many injures, Felix had suffered a traumatic brain injury, which was severe and potentially life-limiting.
In the care of the amazing staff at Southampton General Hospital Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, Felix made remarkable progress in his determination to walk again. Fit For Felix was set up to help pay for the day-to-day care that Felix will require now he's left hospital. This will include physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, speech therapy, counselling, and the likely modifications required to the family home.
Fight for Felix is an event where supporters, who train in Martial Arts including Karate, Aikido. Ju-Jitsu, Kick Boxing & Muay Thai, are demonstrating different elements of the arts including an endurance sparring event. These fights will be done by a number of different people showing a variety of different fighting skills.
