I have decided to set up this crowd funding account to try to help the inventor of the Fidget Spinner.
I read an article in the guardian today ( https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2017/may/03/fidget-spinner-inventor-patent-catherine-hettinger ) which states that she hasn't profited from her invention. Catherine Hettinger invented it for her daughter. In 2005 she could no longer afford to renew the patent for the fee of £310. I find this very sad and hope that anything we can raise here will go some way to helping her and her family.

8 years agoThanks so much for everyone who has donated so far. I really do feel this lady deserves all that we can raise for her. Her invention is helping people all around the world and it is a real shame that she is currently receiving nothing from this amazing invention. Please help by supporting and sharing :)
