Story
FWFF are a small group of 5 volunteers who came together in 2021 to arrange Christmas lights and a switch on event for Fort William. We organised an evening to remember with Santa arriving on a tractor, face painters, balloon modelling, a piper and music in the Ben Nevis bar. Unfortunately Storm Arwen forced us to change our planned music in Cameron Square but the evening was still a massive success and the children loved coming to Santa’s grotto.
We are now fundraising for 2022 so we can plan an event on Friday 25 November 2022 from 6pm to 9pm. The cost of lights will be 20% higher, so we're looking to raise an additional £6000 to add to last year's fundraising to cover all the costs. In total we need £10,000 just to pay for the installation of the lights and anything left over will help us pay for the light switch on event.
We cannot make this happen without you, so please support a good cause and make Christmas fantastic for Fort William. Help us bring our community together again this year.
