***Thanks for such amazing suppoort so far! We have reached our £500 target after 5days & we know lots of children are yet to complete their walks. As everyone has been so generous we have increased our target. We hope that the community can continue to support the children & the school for this cause. Diolch! ***

We haven’t been able to run the usual PTA fundraisers over the last year due to Covid restrictions. We hope that Ysgol Glanyfferi pupils, family & friends will all join in individual family bubbles with this fundraiser & do what you can to raise money for the PTA. All money raised is spent on the children; at the moment we are fundraising to repair & renovate the outside play area, which is currently not accessible to the children because of its current state.

How the fundraiser will work .....

Please choose what works for you - a 1km, 3km, 5km or even a 10km sponsored walk! We hope that you can plan to walk your chosen distance as a family bubble.

Choose to walk the distance any time before the end of the Easter holidays.

How to fundraise.....

Once you have chosen your distances, tell your family & friends that you are doing and share this online fundraising page with them to gather donations for your walk.

If you want to you can use a smart device to track & log the distance & time your walk. Then share this with your sponsors to show them that you have completed it! Please make a note of how far you walk & how long it takes you & share it with us as well. Why not take a photo too!

We are hoping that anyone who wants to take part can complete their walk by the end of the Easter holidays. If you have friends or family who want to participate and fundraise for us too then please share the link with them too. Any child who takes part will receive a virtual certificate from the PTA. Even if you aren’t able to get sponsorship this time, please take part and track your walk!

Please remember it is important that you continue to adhere to government guidelines on Coronavirus. Also make sure that you plan a safe walking route and take care when walking.
