I've raised £500 to fund educational trips for underprivileged kids

On 23rd of June I will do my first triathlon - the Cardiff Bay Olympic triathlon. Starting at 6:30, and not expecting to finish before 10, I am sure to appreciate any support for this challenge. And really the best way to give me more strength and motivation would be to support this inspiring cause that I decided to raise money for.
Two teachers from the Teach for Slovakia program started an initiative named "With bookmarks to the world" ("Zalozkou do sveta"), which rewards the kids who showed determination and commitment with an educative journey in European countries.
The participating kids in this project come from socially deprived and underprivileged families, often lacking even the most basic infrastructure such as running water. Needless to say, they have never reached beyond the borders of their communities and without external help, their chances of getting a different perspective on the world and a success in life are minimal.
Therefore, as part of these educative trips, the kids not only experience some of the biggest adventures of their lives, they also work hard in preparation of the journey, actively learn throughout the trip by completing various assignments and analyze their experiences upon returning back home. Perhaps most importantly, they learn the valuable lesson of working to achieve their dreams.
100% of donations are going towards covering the expenses of the program - travel tickets, accommodation, food etc. After the race, all the raised money will be transferred to the trip organizers.
Thank you so much for your donations and support!
