There are a lot of families who have been affected by covid19 financially, even though there are children who are entitled to a free school meal (including during the holidays in Wales) there are many children who fall through the net and are not entitled to anything despite their families struggling.
Yesterday Monday 26th October we provided 84 children in our local area.
We want to continue to help those people who have had their incomes affected, jobs lost, hours cut, are on furlough and are struggling to put food on the table. We want to provide as many children in our local area with some lunches so they do not have to go hungry. No child should ever have to go hungry and as a community it would be amazing to come together in times like this to help people less fortunate than ourselves.
We are looking for food donations too which can also be delivered to families in need. These can be collected.
