We thought we should make an announcement of where the club currently stand with the ground criteria that the Welsh FA are imposing on us next season.

1. We had applied for a grant in full off the Welsh FA and this was approved on the condition that we had a ‘lease of the land’ for more then 10 years from Wrexham Council.

2. We had applied for this ‘lease’ and after a lot of searching found the right people that could help us.

3. However, they were not able to give us the lease in time and the Welsh FA have now stated we have “missed the grant window” as we have not obtained the ‘lease’

NEXT STEPS

1. We are going to try and self fund the project which is going to cost near £15,000

2. A ‘crowd funding’ page has been set up for any donations.

3. We have applied for planning permission.

4. If we miss the summer deadline of building the new stand we will be relegated to Tier 4 of Welsh football

5. We, as a club will continue to grow and will not let this knock us down.
