Well marathon number three was due Sunday but after being off work all last week ill and still coughing with a wheezy chest I am now just doing The Liverpool Half marathon on Sunday. London was the original target and completed with Manchester added on (Personal best) and Liverpool an afterthought that sadly didn't work out. Health first. Many thanks to all those who have donated and the page will close soon and I will post a final total and also wrote a blog when I visit the school to drop the cheque off.

A late entry for the Chester Half Marathon today. Next week will see The Liverpool Spring 5k (Sat) and 10k (Sun) weekend after that will be the final long run of 18 miles and three weeks today the third and final marathon (Liverpool RnR) thanks once again for the support. It has blown my mind.

2 down 1 to go. London was the hottest London Marathon on record at 24c in the shade. It was tough going towards the end and I made the call to jog and walk from 20 miles so I could guarantee a finish and after looking at numerous casualties at the side of the road ranging from stretchers to people vomiting and people with muscle injuries. Anyway I got around in 5 hours 15 and once again many thanks for all the support and donations. Liverpool Marathon next on May 20th and then the page will close and a final total supplied.
