Story

I am doing three swims this year that are very much out of my comfort zone and a real challenge. The first swim is a 9 km lake swim in Snowdonia National Park. This is taking place on the 2nd of June and the water is due to be very cold and I’m swimming without a wet suit! I’ve never swam more than 5 km before so this is a really scary swim. The second swim is a relay swim around Jersey on the 14th of July. We will be swimming for between 10 and 12 hours with a total distance of 50 miles. Again no wet suits! My third and final swim is 6 km in the Cornwall sea and I have to do a short run in between each one km swim😳. I do not like running. Please support me and this amazing charity. Many thanks.

The Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation was set up in January 2011, in memory of Grace Crocker, who grew her angel wings aged 11 weeks. Grace was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, and had open-heart surgery when she was just 5 days old. Her family lived in Jersey, and so they had to move to Southampton for three months whilst Grace recovered from her surgery, including her brother and sister as well as her mum and dad. She met lots of friends and family when she was allowed back home to Jersey, and in the month that she was home, she touched so many people's lives. This charity aims to help other families who need to spend time in the UK whilst their child receives medical treatment in a hospital.
