The Mark McQueen Foundation was set up by his loving family to honour the memory of an incredible young man who lost his life through suicide.

Mark struggled for many years with silent demons that tortured him. His mental health was so severley effected, he thought the only way to finally silence them was to take his own life. He did so on Saturday 27th June 2007 at the age of just 27.

Mental Health until recent times has been seen as a taboo subject, with people especially young men feeling unable to talk about what is happening and reaching out for the help they so desperately need. The Foundation offers support for men facing this daily struggle. Helping them find their voice and to realise there is another answer, and a life worth living ahead of them. The foundation also supports families and loved ones enduring the loss of someone in such a cruel, senseless and unnecessary way.
