Covid has affected all of us, including our young children, who have missed out on valuable experiences such as socialising with friends and embarking in structured physical activities. Many of our families live in flats, with little or no access to outdoor space.

We want to be able to offer the best possible resources to our children and local community. We intend to improve our outdoor facilities by regenerating our playground. Our playground is used by children who attend our school and children from the wider community. We have a Children's Centre at Fairway, who deliver sessions to families with younger children. Local community groups also use our facilities, including BACE; a holiday scheme aimed at children in receipt from free school meals.

Better playground facilities would make a huge difference for our children and families, particularly at a time when many of us are still recovering from the impact of Covid and struggling financially.
