Sheffield MASK APPEAL page

As our lives have changed beyond recognition,grassroot community organisations came together to form: Sheffield BAMER COVID-19 :Mums United, ACT, Israac community center , Big Brother Burngreave Hadfield institute immediately came together In an effort to help the vulnerable in our communities.We have delivered food to over 300 families city wide,this has been done with no public funding just through local donations and volunteers

In the background, we along with other fantastic groups, have also been working on making face shields for health workers. We are now ready to deliver face masks. Volunteers have already come forward to sew them at home. We are deeply concerned for residential homes, and for our care workers, so in the first instance we will be delivering the face shields and masks to our care workers

Our bigger appeal is to make Sheffield a fully masked city. We hope to bring together all the resources our communities can bring to bear to help arrest the spread of Coronovirus.

the funds raised will be enough to make 10000 face masks and 1000 faceshields
