I'm raising £20000 to Support young people between the ages of 12-25 impacted by multiple disadvantage

At The EYC Project, we support young people between the ages of 12-25 facing multiple disadvantage. This is not only a passion because our team has an innate desire to support young people, but throughout our team, our lived experience reflects these areas meaning we understand many of the struggles that present as a result of multiple disadvantage.
From early adulthood, Annette (born Elizando Yolande Carty, who this project is named after) had to sacrifice her own dreams of opening a space to support vulnerable young people to ensure her own children did not fall through systems gaps having all been impacted in different ways by all 5 areas of multiple disadvantage.
Now the EYC Project founded by three siblings, and inspired by the strength of their mother, Annette, as well as being joined later along the path by family friends who share the same passion to support young people, can revisit this dream by combining lived experience with professional expertise and academic knowledge in areas such as psychotherapy, education, youth work and criminal justice to support young people.
This means, we now aim to raise funds to create a permanent space to provide support for young people and families impacted by multiple disadvantage in inner city London.
Therapeutic support from trained professionals
Youth mentoring for those impacted by multiple disadvantage
Family advocacy to navigate complex systems
Workshops to provide education, build resilience, compassion, and connection
Have safe spaces to play and experience the joys of being a young person whilst removing the heavy pressure of life
Traditional services often miss the bigger picture treating problems in isolation instead of addressing the root causes.
We take an approach that allows us to build trust, take a trauma informed approach, and provide holistic, person centred support that transforms lives.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
