This year for Exeter University Boat Club's Annual Fundraiser we will be welcoming back the clubs 24 hour row in support of Devon Mind and the club itself on the 5th December 2021.

Devon Mind is an independent mental health charity affiliated with the National Mind Association providing advice, information and support to empower anyone in Devon who may be experiencing a mental health problem. Particularly with the recent impact of Covid-19, mental health support has never been more important.

This is why we are aiming to row 1,740km for the 1,740 contacts from people looking for mental health support received by Devon Mind in the first 6 months of lockdown alone.

This is a much higher target than we have ever attempted before and is going to be a huge challenge but one we are extremely excited to undergo to support Devon Mind and all the work they do within the county.

Our aim is to raise at least £1000 for Devon Mind and also money to put towards much needed new equipment for our boat club as sport plays such a huge part in supporting good mental health. We are going to divide the proceeds raised 50:50 between Devon Mind and Exeter University Boat Club up to £2000 and then 20.9% of donations on top of that will go towards Devon Mind for the 20.9% of people in the South West of England experiencing a mental health problem. All donations are greatly appreciated as we are aiming to raise £5000 this year.
