Story

I have decided to take on the English Channel in July 2023 to raise money for Pathways Care Farm in Suffolk. I will be swimming across solo, with just a swimming costume, hat and goggles to protect me from the cold water and lurking jellyfish!

Pathways Care Farm provide a space for vulnerable people to be cared for and nurtured, whilst having hands-on farming experience. This is close to my heart, as my Grandpa, who had Alzheimer's, spent many happy days here, walking alpacas and working in the polytunnels. My Grandma volunteers now, helping many other vulnerable people. To find out more about what Pathways Care Farm do, visit their website: https://www.pathways-care-farm.org.uk/. I will be splitting donations 50:50 between Pathways Care Farm and funding my swim (EDIT: I have now managed to fund my swim so all new donations will be going directly to Pathways Care Farm). I am hugely grateful for all the support I have received so far.
