Having just returned form the Czech Republic the day before a war started in Ukraine, I soon learnt from my auntie that she offered her home to a Ukrainian family. My auntie has the biggest heart and has inspired me to do my bit from the UK. I started this page to raise funds to help families like this one who have less than the bare minimum.

I have been overwhelmed by the amazing response from my friends and people who care and supported this thought by acting so quickly and generously. The initial idea has since grown and we have now got together as a group of work colleagues and decided to drive to the Ukrainian border in Poland to deliver all the donations we've collected. We aim to stay for a week to offer our help wherever is needed.
