Story
For years now, our sanctuary has been dependent on diesel generators to supply power for everything.
The generators are old, and noisy and smelly and they need lots of maintenance and care to keep them working. One of them set on fire not too long ago.
We use the power from these to do EVERYTHING. They power the food grinders, the PCs, the lighting, (even in the vet clinic) - the security cameras, and our delicate and expensive veterinary equipment.
But now we have a chance to be connected to the main electricity supply - to have clean and instant light and power. To finally have instant electricity and power like any normal person.
This fund raiser is to help us to achieve this dream. Please will you help us?
We also need tinned cat food for the kittens in the mother and baby unit.

6 months agoThank you to everyone who has raised the money needed for electricity to be supplied to our properties. We hope installation and connection will not take too long, and we will keep you updated on our Facebook pages. We have increased the amount that we need because we still have our usual monthly costs to cover, and our next purchase needs to be canned food. Thank you for every pound that has been donated. 6 months agoOur thanks goes out to each and everyone of you for your amazing support. In a few weeks, we hope to be able to connect to the grid! It will be amazing to just flick a switch on the wall and have light and power. Thank you so much. Soon we will also be able to order the canned food and replenish our store cupboard.
