Iʼve raised £140 to remember Eric Leslie Foster (10/8/26 to 29/10/17)
- Guisborough
- Funded on Monday, 4th December 2017
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
In memory of Eric Leslie Foster, loving Father, Husband, Grandfather and Friend who sadly passed away on the 29th October.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, we are raising money for two different causes - Cancer Research and the National Railway Museum in York. All funds raised will be split equally between both.
Eric was passionate about trains and his work as a volunteer for over 20 years with the National Railway Museuum in York (see photo!). He made many friends and had many happy memories of his time working in the photo archives, continuing his boyhood interest for all things trains well into his retirement from ICI. Without people like Eric the museum wouldn't be able to do the work it does, and we know he would want other people to continue experiencing the same enjoyment he did.
We are also raising money for Cancer Research UK, who of course pioneer research into cancer to ultimately help improve the lives of many people including Eric's wife Pauline.
All donations are very gratefully received and, from all his family, thank you for taking the time to remember Eric/Dad/Grandad.
