After the devastating earthquake in Turkiye and Syria, many hundreds of thousands of people have been left with nothing. My own family have been affected, in particular Miray Yilmaz, Turan Yilmaz, Sude Yilmaz, Eymen Yilmaz and Yavuz Yilmaz whose home has been completely destroyed along with all of their belongings. They have nothing left other than the clothes they were wearing when they were lucky enough to escape the collapse of their home. They will have to rebuild their entire lives and I am asking for donations that I can personally deliver to them to help them recover and rebuild their lives. As one of the survivors of this tragedy has said today, we have lost everything, but we know we are not alone and this is our only consolation. I know times are tough for many people at the moment.
