Erayim Aid Trust UK (Registered Charity Number 1163524) helps to promote the education of children in Kyrgyzstan both directly and through the professional development of their teachers, thereby improving opportunities for meaningful careers in the future.

A team of British volunteers works in various parts of Kyrgyzstan in the delivery of a free, annual two-week professional development course for Kyrgyz teachers of English, most of whom are women. Although UK volunteers pay for their own flights and accommodation in Kyrgyzstan, each course can only be run thanks to the help of generous donors.

Similarly, our Gateway year-round after-school project for children in deprived areas of the capital, Bishkek, depends totally on donations to cover teaching materials and the salaries of our teachers and project manager.
