I've raised £5000 to Help get Emily surgery

I'm putting this up with a lot of trepidation.
In 2019 I came out as a trans woman, and sought help after a lifetime of denial, pain and anguish at being stuck with a physiology which was abhorrent to me. As a result of coming out, it is increasingly likely that I will, in effect be starting my life from scratch again at the age of 44.
I am on a waiting list for NHS care, but it is unlikely that I will even receive a first appointment until mid 2023, which will be nothing more than effectively a chat asking why I think I am trans.
I have funded HRT to date, and the required Psychological assessments which have confirmed what I have known for so long - and the goal for me now is to achieve the surgeries that I need to erase the horrible mistake of birth I have been dealing with.
Having researched private options, I have concluded that I would like to seek the care of Dr Suporn's clinic in Thailand. This is for a number of reasons, both financial (it is significantly lower cost than UK based surgeons) as well as the fact that Dr Suporn's technique seems to me to be superior in results to those achieved in the UK.
However, I think I will end up needing £20-25k to achieve this. Which is money I just don't have. No private medical insurance exists in the UK for this to be covered, and the NHS have absented themselves from this provision - with an estimated 7 years delay in getting ot a surgical referral - a referral which is not guaranteed in the current political climate as NHS care is defunded, delayed and withdrawn.
I don't expect donors to fund the entire cost, in fact I have no expectation at all, and am embarassed to put this up - I have (at this point in time) a good job - but as I say, as a result of coming out I will be starting afresh.
I am often asked if I have a fundraiser setup - so I am setting one up to help defray the costs of getting the surgery booked, paid for and the expenses of travelling to Thailand and for the recovery period required. I am trying to save money for this and will likely need an extensive bank loan, but I cannot live another 7 years in a body which is not my own.
These costs are solely for GRS - there are other procedures I would like to access to offset the damage that male puberty and testosterone have done, but am not seeking help for - and for which the NHS makes no provision.
Any help would be received very gratefully and I understand that not everyone can or will want to help; and that's ok - I'm grateful for the support of any kind - emotional, physical and financial that is provided.
Thank you
Ems
